The Newcastle Tour 2014
A mini-tour, yet full caps were handed out (weren’t they, Tim?) Duffers’ Corner is now reborn as Spakkas’ Corner, as Dr B and BGP sit it out due to their career-ending injuries. Thank goodness for Alex, Son of Slug, who got most of our goals, roared on by his sister Lizzie (who was also cruelly laughing at the efforts of her esteemed father, Slug Senior).
All followed by a snoozefest at St. James’s Park, only enlivened by the comedy name of QPR’s Korean fullback. Later, bibs and chefs hats for dinner in town – and the perfect day ended by the waxing of a huge (and hairy) moon over the Tyne…
